About DNY Cross Border Group
An Australia-led technology and commercialisation group, headquartered in Sydney, building trusted, open AI infrastructure and connecting it with the physical economy.
From AI platform to infrastructure group
DNY began by building the commercial layer between global open-source AI and Australian enterprise. As commercial drones, embodied robotics, OPC + FDE delivery, trusted data spaces and industry projects were added, a single-platform description no longer fitted.
DNY is now organised as a group: one holding layer, two infrastructure layers — digital and physical — a delivery network, and independent ventures that build on all of them.
We create value at the commercialisation layer — localisation, security, integration, operations and support — rather than by training a new foundation model.
- Applied Ventures & Industry SolutionsIndependent ventures and industry projectsFocused ventures and industry projects — drones, robotics, logistics, construction, trade and media — each with its own customers and business model, built on shared group infrastructure.
- OPC + FDE NetworkTalent, nodes and industry deliveryLocal OPC nodes (Office + AI Agents) and Forward Deployed Entrepreneurs that turn infrastructure into real industry solutions — from proof of concept to deployment.
- Open Physical Intelligence LayerConnecting AI to the physical worldThe unified connection layer between trusted AI and real devices — drones, robots, edge systems, vision and sensor networks — vendor-neutral and auditable.
- Trusted & Open AI InfrastructureDigital intelligence infrastructureOpen models, AI agents, APIs and private or hybrid deployment — multi-model, multi-cloud and licence-aware, operated as an accountable Australian service.
- Trusted Data, Identity & Verification FoundationWhat makes every layer verifiableA Trusted Data Space with provenance, permissions, versioning, identity and audit — so data, models, devices and decisions can be traced and verified.
Group → infrastructure → physical intelligence → network → ventures
| Level | Name | Role | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Group | DNY Cross Border Group | Group strategy and holding layer | Strategy, capital, brand, partnerships, governance and international markets |
| Layers 1–2 | Trusted & Open AI Infrastructure | Digital intelligence infrastructure | Trusted Data Space, open models, identity, audit, APIs, agents and transaction readiness |
| Layer 3 | Open Physical Intelligence Layer | Physical intelligence connecting AI to the real world | Drones, robotics, edge devices, vision systems, autonomous systems and sensor networks |
| Layer 4 | OPC + FDE Network | Talent, node and industry delivery network | Office + AI Agents, Forward Deployed Entrepreneurs, training, incubation and solution delivery |
| Layer 5 | Applied Ventures & Industry Projects | Independent ventures and industry companies | Drones, robotics, logistics and warehousing, construction, trade, media and future verticals |
The structure is designed so that new independent brands — such as drone, robotics, warehousing or construction-technology companies — can be added at Layer 5 without redesigning the group.
How we build
Australian-led
Governance, data rules, standards adaptation and industry application grounded in Australian law, market and industry needs.
Open collaboration
Open to quality technology, models, data and research worldwide — not dependent on a single country, supplier or technology route.
Trust first
Verifiable, traceable and auditable mechanisms for data source, version, permission, update and use.
Industry first
Start from real industry projects with clear data foundations and practical value.
Standardised interfaces
APIs, data dictionaries, unified identifiers and standard structures connect platforms, systems and devices.
Clear IP
Each party keeps existing IP; new data, derived results and joint work are assigned by specific agreement.
Led from Sydney, connected to the world
DNY is headquartered in Barangaroo, Sydney. The OPC + FDE network starts in Sydney, with Auckland as the expansion direction for New Zealand.
Technology, models and hardware are selected on a global, multi-origin basis. Australia serves as a gateway in both directions: a structured route for suitable international technology into Australian industry, and a platform for Australian capability to reach global markets.
Policy alignment
Australia’s National AI Plan focuses on domestic capability, smart infrastructure, adoption, responsible practice and international engagement, with the National AI Centre supporting practical industry adoption. DNY’s focus on trusted, deployable AI in the physical economy is consistent with that direction.

About DNY — common questions
What is DNY Cross Border Group?
DNY Cross Border Group is an Australia-led technology and commercialisation group, headquartered in Sydney, that builds trusted, open AI infrastructure and connects it with the physical economy through drones, robotics, edge systems and industry ventures.
Is DNY a single AI platform or a group?
A group. DNY is organised in layers: a group holding layer, Trusted & Open AI Infrastructure, the Open Physical Intelligence Layer, the OPC + FDE delivery network, and Applied Ventures that operate as focused businesses on that shared infrastructure.
Does DNY train its own foundation model?
No. DNY works at the commercialisation layer — selecting, evaluating, integrating, governing and operating suitable open and open-weight models — rather than competing to train a frontier model.
What do the project status labels mean?
Operating means live with customers; In Development means being designed, built or validated; Proposed means a defined concept awaiting partners, approvals or funding; Research means exploratory; Partnership Opportunity means open to a partner to lead or co-develop.
